Directions for Use
Place the applicator tip of K9 Advantix for Dogs through the animals hair to the skin level. For dogs up to 20 lbs, apply to skin on back between the shoulder blades. For dogs over 20 lbs apply in 3 or 4 spots along the dogs backline starting between the shoulder blades extending back to the base of the tail. Give the appropriate dose of K9 Advantix depending on the dog’s weight. For dogs over 55 lbs apply the appropriate combination of pipettes. K9 Advantix for Dogs is safe for use on pregnant and lactating bitches. DO NOT USE ON CATS.
Cautions
Do not use K9 Advantix for Dogs on puppies under 7 weeks of age. Do not apply K9 Advantix for Dogs to cats or animals other than dogs. This product is extremely poisonous to cats. Do not permit cats to actively groom or have close physical contact with a recently treated dog. Do not get K9 Advantix for Dogs in the pet’s eyes or mouth. Use with caution in sick and debilitated animals. Safe to use on puppies from 7 weeks of age. This product causes eye irritation in humans and is harmful if swallowed. Avoid contact with skin. Seek medical attention if swallowed. If on skin, wash with plenty of soap and water. If in eyes, flush with plenty of water. K9 Advantix for Dogs is dangerous to aquatic organisms. Do not, under any circumstances, allow treated dogs to enter any type of surface water, such as ponds, for at least 48 hours after treatment.
Possible Side Effects
Side effects of K9 Advantix for Dogs are extremely rare when the product is used at the recommended dosage. Should pets experience an adverse reaction, consult a veterinarian immediately. On rare occasions, reactions in dogs may include transient skin sensitivity including increased itchiness, hair loss and redness at the application site or lethargy.
